I said Virtual Console isn't a collection, that the cartridges are. Learn to facking read.

Pretty much, Nintendo is selling Roms. That's Virtual Console in a nutshell. You honestly believe you'll be able to find a working NES or SNES console, and a few games for it these days? No, unless you're extremely lucky, so who cares.

You ever heard of Homebrew? They do the same thing as Nintendo, they upload roms and games. Any VC Game is a built in rom/emulator. Because Wii doesn't run on old games. Trust me, if you hate roms you hate VC because it's the exact same thing. Oh and I do support Nintendo. As well as Gamestop and Best Buy. I always buy games from those stores, so aren't I helping already? Money doesn't grow on trees, y'know. It takes time for me to have enough money for a decent Wii Game.

tl;dr, I have proven you wrong, let's not turn this into a gamer's flamewar like the shiz that happens on /v/ every day.
I've heard and have made codes for the Wii. I made some codes for COD4 REMIX. Now why don't you *censored.9.10* and get off this site if your going to whine.
You're whining more than he is.

Yes, sir. Let's discuss this somewhere else everyone.

Before this topic derails and gets locked big time. I don't wanna be responsible for it when it happens.

And you completely ignored the main point of my post. Here, let me repost it for you.

It's not that people fear getting in trouble that they don't use ROMs, it's because they're honest people and actually like supporting the developers. You're not supporting anything if you download ROMs, you're just hurting by stealing.
EDIT: Sorry, didn't see your post, Connor.

>Being scared of using "illegal" emulators

Illegal? My ass it's illegal. Fine, it might be a little illegal, but everyone does it. What now, you're gonna sue a huge chunk of the internet/world population for playing games on Emulators, and even the people that make awesome romhacks? Bullcrap.

It's not like you're gonna go to Nintendo's HQ and tell em you play on Emulators. Nobody gets in trouble, nobody gives a damn. If you wanna own games legally you're either a coward OR you want to make a huge game collection. But you hardly see any classic games for sale today. Even if you find one, you might not have the console to play it on. If you do have a working console, chances are the cartridge might be messed up. Classic games installed on your Wii isn't a collection, Having the actual cartridges is a collection. Why waste money buying some old game you probably won't care about in less then a month, when you can buy WiiWare games? WiiWare is better than any title on Virtual Console ever. Sure, the classics are nice but if you wanna save money, get roms.

tl;dr, quit being a bunch of whiney kids, emu or gtfo.

You're not supporting anything if you download ROMs, you're just hurting by stealing. And, by your logic, ROMs aren't any more of a "collection" than Virtual Console games are, because both are just data, not physical cartridges or discs. But Andrew and I have many Virtual Console games, and they're just as much a part of our collection as our physical discs and cartridges.
That may be true with newer games, but where are you supposed to buy 20-30 year old games at that aren't in development anymore?

I heard Midnight Bowling was good.

<div class='spoiler_toggle'>Off Topic yet true</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">This forum needs to prevent you from posting when a new post comes before you try posting, so people will see the updates. Otherwise it'll stay off topic. For example, I try posting something on topic, as a reply to someone else, but someone did it already while I was typing.

A lil message should pop up saying "Warning, 1 new reply has been posted while you were typing. You may wish to revise your post."

Pl0x.</div>

I mean games that aren't on virtual console.

I don't know about you guys but where I live there are stores like play n' trade that sell old games and systems.

SMRPG is awesome. Get it. Even though it's VC.
I still need to play that... XD Andrew downloaded it shortly after Christmas, but he hasn't played it since, and I still have yet to, lol. It's one of his most favorite games ever, so that's saying something. He used to have the actual SNES cartridge, but it was stolen from him. =/

Anyway, I highly recommend Bonsai Barber. GREAT game!!

I don't have one of those, otherwise I would so take advantage of those. I mostly have to buy old games online.

Check one of his threads... He lied about me ;-;

Well, Pokemon Ranch was okay.
But the ones I mostly recommend (I haven't gotten either of them yet):
Pokemon Rumble
and
Super Smash Bros.!!!!!!!!!!!!ZZOMGOGGGG

Dude, finally I can play the first SSB in history without that ghey nintendo controller! I think it came out already, I'm not sure.
I've played it on my friends rom Nintendo

Dude, don't waste your points on that. Go to XGenStudios, the game was originally made there. It's much easier too, cause Wii Remotes take much more dexterity skills and balance compared to using a small mouse.
