Wii U, or hold out for NX?

tbh I'm pretty skeptical of the NX flat-out replacing the Wii U (last I checked all we have to go on for that is just rumors and standard doomsday clickbait articles) so....

that said though if you want to play it'd safe, I'd say just wait until we have solid info on what the NX actually is. as its not like they're going to quit producing Wii Us anytime soon, so you have more than enough time to purchase at a later date if need be

Maybe get like a used or cheap Wii U for now if you have any games that you really want to play atm.

If not, just wait for the NX, you could probably play the animal crossing wii u game on it whenever it comes out anyway.

I'd say go for the Wii U. What do we even know about the NX other than a POSSIBLE release date?? We don't even know what type of console it will be (Home/Portable/Phone)..... The Wii U already has plenty of good games on it, so I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed.

Unless there are games you want badly on the Wii U, I'd say screw it and wait.
