how do you go about getting the wifi set up with the wii? it's my stepson's and I'm not sure how to do it. do you use your DS to wifi? I know how to get my friend code and all that jazz.I just want to know how I can wifi and go to other towns/have visitors, etc,

yes we do, and we have cable

You have to go into the Wii's system options and link it up to your Wireless router, if it is unlocked just scan an connect, if it is locked you must manually input your WEP key (assuming thats the type of protection you use on your router). Once thats done and your Wii is connected to the internet just pop in the game and head to the gates at the front of the town to get your friend code, then come onto here and exchange codes with people to visit each other's towns.
