Wi-Fi trouble

My Wi-Fi USB is acting strange
it woun't connect to the Wii.. so I can't go on internet channel or wi-fi in ACCF

Firewall is not blocking it, the internet works fine, there are no obticals in the way and the Wii is like 6 ft away >.<

When I connect it to the wii, it shows on the computer screen that it connected..then the connection instantly drops. And on the wii, is says there is no access point.
Normally if this happens, I restart comp, and the wifi works good, but it's not working at all..

Any idea guys?
oh, sorry if its in wrong section(no section seemed to include wifi HQ)

hmm, the wi-fi USB is kinda warm.. maybe it needs to cool
yah this wi-fi USB is like 3 years old

Mine heats up too.

If it doesn't connect and its on, I just test the connection in the Internet options.

I have no idea, because I don't use a USB for Wi-fi.
