Pretty dumb question but...
Why does the blowfish sells at such a low price ?
Like it's supposed to be a scarce fish and it sells for like 125 bells...while the angelfish sells for 3000 bells for example.
If somebody has an idea...

i think there isn't an in-game explanation for it.
it's just cheap, is my guess

Maybe because it isn't edible IRL? Unless you're a highly trainer chef, eating blowfish sashimi will kill you. Just a guess

As much as I hate to say this, it's probably due to looks. The angelfish is pretty and therefore more desirable, so it's more expensive. Similar concept to top tier villagers.

I'm going to say because the size of it and its a common fish that is easy to catch and the angelfish is not so common and easy to find, cuz it does take time finding the angelfish and the blow fish always easy to find.
