To give your villagers bugs or fish when they ask for fruit/food? Is it actually possible to give them one depending on their species, and they'll take it?

They must have put it there on purpose so you'll need to look and remember what a fruit is.

Any other reason, I have no idea.....

I admit that I've given it serious thought but, if I've already gone to the trouble to shake a tree, I may as well give them what they want. (That little devil sitting on my shoulder is going to win someday.)
