Why is new leaf so addicting?

I mean it's way more addicting than any of the other ones, and it's just so addicting! Why do you think?

are you asking us why you're addicted to a game?
surely you should be able to figure that out by yourself...

Well, it's addicting to me because of how easy it is to meet new people, or visit random towns in dreams. The older games didn't really have that.

Also, the island is really nifty. If you need to make a ton of bells, it's super easy to hop on and get them.

this is a silly reason, but really it makes it so much easier to play imo over the console games which adds to its addictiveness

WW was my favorite AC game prior that I put a ton of hours into, and portability for it was probably why as well

For me it's definitely the portability (I barely played City Folk, ugh), the way things change every day (is someone in camp/new stuff in shops/things develop etc), and the way you mostly play little and often which keeps it fresh.

For me, it never ends @-@ There's always something happening even after you complete everything. There might be more stuff to improve and all.
