Why is it so hard to have ACNL friends?!

It's so difficult to find ACNL friends that actually want to play together!! I have been adding people's FC. They either 1) add me back and do not respond when I message them on ACNL or 2) don't add back at all. I just cleaned out my Friend List, and I am hoping to find people who are really interested in playing together.

I love to visit other people's towns and would enjoy it if I get some visits back. I live in California so my GMT is -8:00. I am willing to help a friend out with things in the game, just let me know what it is that you need.
