Why is art always the hardest to get.

Sadly although I have feng shui in all my houses, in all rooms, high, but probably not maxed out - I can't really see much effect!
Mostly my Redd has only had one real piece of art (I've never had all 4 fake, not sure that is even an option), a few times two real -but one has always been 'one of the always genuine' paintings.
I think feng shui has helped with prices - both at Redd & the price villagers offer art at - its generally lower than it might be.
Feng shui increases your chances doesn't guarantee anything.

If I was really wanting to complete - I would do as stitchmaker suggests in post #11, I might do this eventually as I don't seem to be anywhere near completing any town with respect to its art section.

Lol, I only TT when I don't want to wait.
In my four years of ACNL, I've bought about 25 pieces of art from Redd, only five have been genuine.It annoys me so much that it makes me want to throw my DS across the room when Blathers says it's fake.

Only 5?!?!?!?! I always check with my old prima guide. Or the internet.

It is pretty frustrating that you need to look up pictures of the fake art or else get scammed. I could understand if 2 items were fake, or even just 1, but all of them except for one? That's lame
