So I have 2 cycling town and then I have my main town where all 7/10 of my dreamies live. TODAY Shari asked to move, someone reserved her, he had just given away a villager. I TT'd a couple days finally having 9 villagers, and then TT another day and the villager he gave away is moving in TnT

I didn't realize that Villagers from other peoples "void" even if they are adopted can still come to your town. This happened to me TWICE NOW with ELOISE and now CHERVE.

How can I avoid this happening another time when one of the three non dreamie villagers move and someone picks them up?

AHHHHHH. I MADE ROOM TO MOVE MY DREAMIE SOON.

Are you sure that happens even when they've been adopted? I always thought that only voided i.e. unadopted villagers would move in from visits. Sorry about that though it sounds really annoying :(

Wow that is unfortunate.... maybe next time you can ask them to clear their voids first to be sure.

Uhh, correct me if I'm wrong but I've never heard of an >>adopted<< villager moving into a person's town via void...only unadapted and then voided villagers end up getting passed along. But if I'm wrong, that is unfortunate :c

Well this person said that someone adopted them and when I asked them about it, they said that this other girl took her T-T

How do you know if your void is clear or not? I don't really understand this concept; I've seen the word mentioned in many threads, and yesterday someone declined a trade because he only had nine villagers and he explained what happens if a person's void isn't clear. >< I'd hate to have one of my villagers in this void move into someone's village or for me to take someone's villager by accident, without knowing that I did that. [I'm not sure how I got a villager from a friend's town.]

This is a concept thats been around for a long time, clearing your void. To be honest, i dont buy into it. I had a cycling town back in the day and also a town for almost 2 years now, and i swear, its not really possible to ever clear your void. Its luck of the draw whether you pick up another persons voided villager. Its just the risk you take when you decide to trade or visit or have visitors, unfortunately.

Clearing your void, despite what people say, is impossible. Any of the last 16 villagers to leave your town that were not adopted have a chance of being passed onto someone who you streetpass or Wi-Fi with.

FUUU! I always have bad luck then because I end up with someone's voided villager T-T I keep trying to make room for my last three dreamies....
