Why do you play Animal Crossing?

I've been playing since I had the GC version and played with my sister. I just always liked the animals and how the game was set up. It was fun to decorate my own house and pay it off with money I made. It was the only game around that time that would let you leisurely go fishing and catch bugs, have neighbors to talk to and do tasks for, and just have fun.

Now I play it for many of the same reasons. I still like decorating and having neighbors I can talk to. It's just an all around fun game. For me, there's no stress on things to do. I can just relax and play a game I enjoy.

I love ACNL due to the idea of control. If you want all cute villagers , then say bye to hazel; if you want to live the life of a mermaid, make your room mermaid theme!

I think the love for animal crossing just started with my first copy of ac population growth on the gamecube. Just the thought of being able to decorate your own home and make it bigger by your own earnings and dressing up your character was very appealing to me and still is which is why i had to get acnl! But acnl has so much more new features that make the game so much more fun and interesting, you have to work for everything in the beginning but it's so worth it in the end!

I've played AC since the Gamecube, and its been one of my favourite things ever since. I've always loved how its in real time and there's no rush to get things done. The aspects of decoration, customization, PWP's, designing a town etc, I enjoy very much. I also adore cute little animals, so the fact that you can fill a town with them is just the best thing ever imo.

The reason is b cuz of 2 things
1.When im sad or angry,this game will ALWAYS make me feel better
2.Its pretty relaxing to play the game (sum people say AC is boring...)
3.Its not like the game like:Win or DIE,if it would be like that my 3ds would be broken :V

I've only just recently became a fan of the Animal Crossing series with New Leaf. I really enjoy playing it for these reasons:
1. All the different villagers you can interact with
2. Collecting all the items that you can get
3. It's very relaxing to play
4. And I love listening to all the music tracks that play throughout the day and seasons

I'm really glad I got this for my birthday 2 years ago.

I played animal crossing new leaf (my first ac game btw) because I saw how cute the villagers were in a review in IGN. they said it was a cool game. I really dont like simulation games because it is tiring and boring... but animal crossing is THE exception.

It is so cool interacting with other Mayors... after that i joined this forum and I cant help but be amazed that the fandom of
animal crossing is the best.

now i can truly say that animal crossing is the best game in my life. i cant put it down. if i do, after some time i pick it up again and play again with the same enthusiasm as the first time i played it.

every town is unique and filled with the creators personality. it is so cool. it seems that while i am living my real life.. i am also living an alternate life in my town. i even keep skeds of my meetings with my villagers in my planner as well as their bday.

i love my town and villagers.

in the past when people asked me what the best game in the whole world is...i would say FINAL FANTASY or the TALES series...

but now I say... ANIMAL CROSSING!
