Why do you collect collectibles?

At this point I just collect collectibles for the sake of it. It’s nice to look back after a few years of participating in events and see that you now have a line up for that holiday/event. Mismatched and all.

It's just fun to me honestly and they're pretty to look at but I honestly like giving them away more than having them LOL

I collect the collectibles that I like and that fit my aesthetic :3

Other than that, I usually take part in the events to ear the currencies and then sell those collectibles in order to be able to get collectibles that I want.

I think it's a fun way to pass the time. They usually align with my interests so it's just a fun, bonus activity with Animal Crossing.

I think they look pretty cool. I like dark glowy things, and do you know how many dark glowy things you can get here?? Insane, but I'm here for it. I like getting little messages attached, even if they are just silly movie/TV show references. They're fun to collect, and I've just recently started to give my lineup a theme of, guess what.

Also, the Friday the 13th candy will probably be in my lineup forever because I was given it when I joined the forums by Crash and I was so happy to be given something and be the subject of a good deed. She may or may not have inspired me to give some extra bells to some people as a nice thing to do.
