why do people want specific bushes?

i didn't think bushes look very different so i just buy all bushes i come across. however, some people want specific bushes, is there a reason to this or smth? xD

i know in summer they look very different but i'm merging my town through winter-cherry blossom times so they never look very different.

i know what they look like in various seasons, i just do not understand why people want specific types when they almost all look the same?

the leaves have different colors and shapes so if you're really picky about town aesthetics you're gonna want to have them match

They don't look the same when they are in bloom - different colours, sizes of flowers; and even out of blooming season, the leaves of each bush are slightly different in colours/shape. I have a town with all orange hybrids. In the Fall, I enjoy having all sweet olive bushes since those blooms are also orange - it looks great to me. During other seasons, I change some of the bushes so that I have some in bloom at all times.

im not picky at all, they all look pretty imo
i'm almost done with planting them and in no way do i regret not making them all the same

If you plant 10 of a certain bush in a row, and want to plant two more, it wouldn't make much sense to plant 2 more that are of a different bush.

It's more of an organization thing. At least for me.

People want specific ones because they're all different. This is like asking why people want specific flowers

I think some of them look prettier than others<3 also it's good to have matching bushes so that it's not all over the place haha.

Because we like the way some of them look over others, duh. This is a dumb question, it's like asking why some people prefer the color blue.

Otherwise you can just plant them randomly

I'm an extreme picky person. I only have holly bushes, and I only have black and orange flowers arranged alternately, and I only have durian trees. The shrubs don't all look the same out of bloom at all - I definitely noticed the visual difference when I had some older hibiscus bushes as well as the holly, and while I started out indifferent it ended up irritating me every time I went past one, so eventually I just tore them up and replanted the whole town with holly exclusively. Maybe it's an OCD thing.

It's a design thing. Much like how in posters, it's kind of cardinal rule to not go past two fonts, two colors, etc.


I thought this was pretty much a given haha.
