If this 3DS was the limited edition, IT WAS NOT A PHYSICAL COPY, the first post said it was! Like wtf this story is so fake

If this really did happen (i doubt it) that really sucks but you don't need to fake a story/photoshop a picture/add more lies in to get attention about it. And if you had the limited edition your 3ds xl would be white not black so that also says that it's fake. And you can only restore your most recent back up not one from 5 months ago (correct me if i'm wrong) i wish you luck after this one...

The Limited edition is they had a event at nintendo store that you could get limited edition. It was available to those at nintendo store at june 8th at midnight. It's same as normal but only different is on the case instead of the 3ds logo it says 3ds in gold. Really no difference gameplay wise.

the only gold 3ds/3ds xl are the super mario bros 2 bundle released for walmart around black friday and the LoZ ocarina of time bundle...

i searched it and got nothing plus you can't restore a physical copies save file because it is saved to the cartridge not the sd card

THAT is the problem. It's one thing to be upset about a corruption, it's another to solicit people for things. There have been so many "Oh no! My town was corrupted!" threads that are just purely looking for handouts. It makes people skeptical, especially when paired with that image. In all honesty, when I saw that picture (without any surrounding context) my immediate thought was, "Oh, that was pulled off the Internet." The angle and image details don't add up... even on just a first impression.
I posted a reply saying that getting items wasn't my goal. I don't scam...
That's fine. I'm just saying having that statement in your post seems to be the major issue. At least that is what put me off.
Yeah, asking for free items for your "new town" which never actually existed is pretty disrespectful and something I'd definitely call scamming. Ranting about a corruption is fine, but asking for sympathy and freebies is just shallow.
(honestly no offense intended to 13-year-olds though. I'm only saying that they're not usually the type to own up when they've made a mistake or admit they did something wrong. that takes a level of maturity that most 13-year-olds just don't have)
So.. it's best to just leave this thread alone because he's only going to stay defensive and keep adding to the lie.

This is pretty important to keep in mind. We can all see that the photo's edited and we've pointed out the obvious flaws in his arguments, but he's not going to stop defending himself or admit he lied because he's 13.
