Why are your dreamies, dreamies?

Some of my dreamies are also dreamies I've grown to love throughout my childhood! Tutu and Pinky have always been my most faves. ♥ I remember being stuck in my room all night on the gamecube playing AC when I was like, 9 years old and I'd constantly be over at Pinky's and Tutu's house haha! ;u;

My dreamies mostly are ones I had in past games and I formed an attachment with (sad, right?). Such as Whitney. She was the first villager I ever met in WW and she was the one who asked about my birthday and stuff..she came across really elegant and I also loved her in movie.

Carmen and Gladys were in my CF town and Carmen house set up really caught my eye( even though it changed in NL) and Gladys had such a unique look. she was my first experience with an ostrich villager.
And Hugh, his eyes are adoreable.

Well, when I started out in New Leaf I didn't understand the concept of dreamies. All I knew was that I wanted Maple in my town since she was in all of my previous towns. (Purely by chance though.) So you can imagine my disappointment when I didn't get her as my starting villagers.

Honestly, most of them of my dreamies are dreamies because of my attachment. I didn't recognize that 2/5 of my starting five were pretty popular until I researched more about them a month after. I actually grew pretty attach to them and decided that Stitches and Fang were to stay into my town forever. And when Muffy first came along, I hated her for plotting so close to me and for ruining my newly planted trees. It wasn't until I found out that she was an uchi when I put my grudge aside. As it turns out, she become my Mayor's best friend. I purely based the rest of my dreamies on cuteness and before I knew it, I got really close to them.

In my current town the animals are winter themed (wolves, bears, deer, snow tigers) and I have 2 of each species I chose (1 male 1 female). The exceptions are Lionel and Lolly who I just have because I really like them.

Bob is my only dreamie. He was in my original GC ac game and was my ac bestie. I got him back in acnl and I still love him. Funnily enough he's like my own cat, Merlin. Lazy, silly, talkative and sweet.

I pretty much like all of my dreamies! Chow may be ugly, but me and him go way back to Wild World...and now today Chow decides to be in boxes. I like Bob and Teddy too, since they were with me in Wild World, too. These guys made me have some sort of connection with my fun experiences in Wild World, and I just can't let them go. Both my experiences and the villagers.

Most of my dreamies are actually old villagers I gotten attached to from old playthroughs of animal crossing. only one or two are actually due to style.

Walker, Papi, and Ankha are my dreamies because of this! I swear it's so easy to get attatched to the little guys.

Carmen, Coco, Merry and Grizzly because I had them all in older games. I have Coco, Merry and Grizzly now, just need Carmen to complete my unholy alliance, lol.
