Why am I left handed?

Is anyone else here a lefty?

I've always found it to be easier to use my left hand in everyday tasks such as writing, playing the guitar, using utensils, etc.

But I sit to the left of my friend Teddy, so when I write, we hit elbows, etc. And people call me weird names... why am I left-handed?

I used to use my right hand for most things. Then when I was like 4 or 5 I got the bright idea of swinging on a swing sideways. One of my friends pushed me so high up I supposedly hit my right hand and I couldn't use it anymore. Or so my mom says...

Most people who claim to be ambidextrous, are liars! Especially since so few people are truly ambidextrous. jking

Any way being left handed just means that for whatever reason your motor control developed better on the right side of your brain... which could really mean any number of things. I am sure I went over this in a psyche class, but it has been so long I don't remember any specifics.

Guys, .2 percent of the world is actually equally facile with both hands. If you write with your right hand and bat in baseball with your left, or something like that, you aren't ambidextrous, you're mixed-handed.
