Diana moved into my town recently and I was really happy about that! I've wanted to have her as a neighbor so it was exciting to see her plot.

fuchsia!! i didn't like her at first but now she's one of my very favorite villagers.
i also really dislike how goats look in this game (even though i LOVE goats in real life, i have 3 of them) but kidd decided to move in recently and he's really starting to grow on me as well.

Oooof I don?t think I?ve ever had a good random move in. In fact every time I have a random it?s worse than the one before 
Some of my favorites in the towns Ive had (I tend to reset a lot) Fawna, Cookie, and Sky. I remember getting cookie in some older games and she has always been a favorite, I got fawna before I had joined any animal crossing communities and realised she was a popular character, and sky I got on my previous town when I started playing.

Jacques was my first random move-in and also my first encounter with a smug villager!! He quickly snagged my heart and I don't think I'll ever be able to let him go

In my old village? Definitely Zucker, he was my first ever move in and I loved him (& was so relieved to find help getting him back once I reset |D)
In my current town... probably Rolf? I haven?t had a lot of random move ins, I cycle them out about as fast as they come in, but he didn?t wreck up the landscaping too bad and it?s been fun having a cranky old tiger around xD Didn?t expect to like him so much, but here we are!

Marshal moved into my town at random. I wasn't really onboard with the whole Marshal craze at first, but he's cute and he's been in my town for so long now, I couldn't imagine Retro without him. He's become a permanent resident. Although, my favorite squirrel of all time has, and always will be, Static.

I wouldn't say this is my FAVORITE random move-in, but I was very happy that I got Anicotti as a random move-in today! She moved in not the most ideal spot, admittedly, but I think even if it's just for a while, she'll make a great resident in my new town. 
And if we're counting starters... I had Alice as a starter and I adore her! Probably one of my favorite villagers lately.

I had Anicotti in my original GameCube town and loved her so much. I'd love to get her again in New Leaf at some point. She's often overlooked so I'm glad to see someone else appreciating her.

It makes me so happy that someone else appreciates a villager who is so underrated! I had Anicotti in my GameCube town as well (though she moved out). It makes me pretty happy that she decided to move in at random in my New Leaf town. I'm happy to have her back.
Some of the best villagers are old gems from previous games. Personally, I would be happy if more villagers that I used to have like Scoot or Purrl moved in, too. <3
