Who's taking part in the Halloween event in-game this year?

Haha, I wish. My towns are in different stages of time, so I'm not in the month for it. Normally, I do though! Toy Day, Halloween, New Years and the Fireworks Shows are things I always make a point to attend, even if I have to time travel back or up a day to get to!

You don't have to buy them all, but you can trade candy for things on halloween. I think it's spooky furniture you get for those, and when you give jack lollipops he gives you creepy furniture.

oh okay, ii thought maybe the candy were for the villagers or something lol, ii was trying to collect 2 per villager plus Jack and Isabelle just incase

I'll be taking part in the event. I want all those Halloween goodies! The items will be a great part of the Halloween/Fall themed town I would like to create.

I'm probably not going to play a lot on halloween even though i'll be at home as I have other plans, but i'll probably play for a little bit when i'm not busy. I haven't even collected nearly enough masks tbh, so far I only have the ghost one, and I haven't really been bothered to collect the others, since I don't think i'm going to be playing a whole lot. I definitely have been collecting the candy though, just because it's cute and I kinda wanna use it in the landscaping of my town. Now that I think about it, I probably should get to collecting those masks if I want to decorate my town with it. As fun as it is scaring villagers, I kinda wish the halloween was like the halloween in older games.

Well, normally, I'm not a big fan of the holidays, however, I guess I will take part this time on Halloween
because I do admit that I like the atmosphere on that day in the game and it is kinda a funny holiday
(at least better than toy day, which I don't like that much to be honest).

I am! I love Halloween and all the other holidays in New Leaf. I've been grabbing all the candy I can get and I have all the masks, so I'm basically ready for it this year.

I decided I don't want to this year. I already don't have any candy due to not playing this month and I don't like the villagers stealing from me. (I would prepare so they can't steal from me if I was participating, though.)
