Who's excited for September?

I'm in september and it is Puce/lime green grass. :(

I thought it would be fun to shake trees for pinecones and acorns.

I got 335 sticks, 18 pinecones, and 4 acorns.

I won't be bothering with that again.

Combined with winter, that makes six months of this game an eyesore for me.

I'm super excited as fall and winter are my favorite seasons out of the year in real life and in game! I really love Thanksgiving and Christmas too lol. Also, less bugs means more time to work on re-doing my island for this time of the year as it's totally barren aside from some fruit trees and flowers.

My feelings are mixed. In real life I love fall, cause I love cool/ cold mornings and colorful leaves and the fall colors are my favorites, esp orange. But I’ve really loved summer and sort of unintentionally themed my island around it. My island has been a little paradise escape for me, so I think I feel a bit anxious about that changing. But I’m sure once fall is here I will really enjoy it. And at least we still have a few weeks left of hibiscus flowers (I think) :)

My birthday is also in September ;)
I’m very excited for fall. It’s my favorite season IRL & Winter is my favorite season in game. Can’t wait for the best half of the year!!

Excited for my birthday and I'll also be getting my first large meteor shower, but disappointed that I missed out on four of the beetles that just left - I was running around for almost an hour and a half and none of my missing beetles spawned until I found a giraffe stag at 11:59 PM. I missed.

It's weird transitioning from winter stark white to thawed out crunchy half dead grass. I'm going into spring, so I'm glad to see some green although I really want summer.

Fall was really fun back in..May? I just want my hibiscus bushes to bloom!

I LOVED going out and visiting SH islands in May when I was just on turnip exchange! I think that I’d have a lot more success if I went to islands here but the past is in the past. In my opinion, I think the fall works better in March-May for me because 1. It’s right around when spring semester lets out and 2. there’s no little to no competition from other holidays (I loath to see how mushroom and maple leaf season fares with thanksgiving).

I’m in the Southern Hemisphere and I’m so glad the snow is gone!!!!! And there are actually good bugs flying around! But I am excited for October more (cherry blossom season, Halloween...)

@Your Local Wild Child
Ohh, I totally didn't think of Thanksgiving plus the foraging for mushrooms at the dang same time for NH.
Cause mushrooms appeared in the last month of fall for SH (may if I remember). So that'll be November for NH.

Sounds chaotic, haha.
Not to mention that since maple leaves are through the last month of fall from 16 to 26 that puts thanksgiving right smack dab in the middle 😖
Personally I’m happy I’m getting a second chance at the cherry blossom season (which probably WONT conflict with Halloween unlike how Bunny Day sabotaged NH’s season).

In game I’m totally excited about a new month, new bugs, fish and sea creatures but, in real life nah, coronavirus stole my favorite season of summer and I only got to enjoy it in game

I like Fall season in particular, not just September. Love the aesthetic of autumn. Also the colors, the vibe, the events.
I live on a tropical country, and we never really experience the four seasons here. Just wet and dry.

That sucks.

I hope your AC hibernation goes well. See you in the spring! 😜

i’m excited! autumn is my second favourite season in animal crossing (my first being winter :)) so i’m excited for the trees and the grass to slowly start changing colours! and for halloween + harvest festival that’ll take place in the next few months c’:

I'm very excited! The constant sunshine of the summer season has always been my least favourite of all the seasons. I did see the fall colours before on southern hemisphere and time traveller islands, and I can't wait to see that happen to my own island as well!
