mixing personality types wasn't a (fairly) crucial part of the game?

(i.e, the game wouldn't have the abundant personality characters pinging you to move out constantly, all PWPs could be requested by any type of villager, etc.)

How does your list compare to who they are now or who you are keeping in your town?

The villagers I wanted in my town permanently definitely shifted when I realized I would be missing three personality types!

I wouldn't take Muffy - I wouldn't have any Uchi.

In her place I would probably want either Lolly or Bangle, but hopefully they will eventually be in my second town (as they are dreamies for that town).

I wouldn't have an Uchi either, and I would go without but I want that wisteria trellis really bad. Lolly is in my boyfriend's town right now so if she ends up pinging, I'll PM you and see if you have space in your second town for her! Might be a while though since it's a new game and he isn't TTing!

I'm actually planning on getting the PWPs I need from certain villagers and then getting rid of that personality type completely. I was going to have one of each personality but I'd rather have a town full of villagers I like. So I'm going to have three jocks, two lazies, and two smugs. Or if I decide to get rid of Marshal I'll get an extra uchi or maybe a third lazy. I'm getting rid of my peppy and normal villagers completely once I get the PWPs I need from them.

That's actually a really good idea! Super simple solution, maybe a bit time consuming but it'll be worth it in the end. You have really cool villagers right now. I love Genji!

I'm quite happy with my plans for my town, I'll have at least one of each personality and 3 normals ?u?~ I'd love to be able to have 12 villagers tho... XD and then maybe add Diana and Maple to my plans

Yeah, I'm doing the diving trick right now but even that's not a guaranteed way to get PWP suggestions. I was at it for three hours one day and didn't get any, and the next day I got one within ten minutes (and ended up getting the only Peppy PWP I didn't want). I love Genji too! I wasn't planning on keeping him when he moved in but he ended up becoming one of my favorites.
