mine was definitely tom in CF around 2008. he is the cranky cat dad i never had. i don't think i'd want him in my town now bc vibes, but i get some warm fuzzies anytime i see someone mention him or have him as their dreamy. i'm tempted to get his amiibo and bring him in for old times sake, though. he unceremoniously moved out without me knowing, and i think i abandoned my CF town after that bc it wasn't the same without him.

Wolfgang! I liked him because I thought he was a cool wolf, and his house was located on an island between the river in my Wild World game, so I thought he was special. Kinda unrelated, but I was super jealous of my friend because she had Mint in her town, and I thought she was such a cute villager!

Mitzi, in the original GameCube game, But I don’t remember why. But she was the sweetest. I haven’t had her since.

Hmmm...there has been a few ...but I think it was Olivia in my original gc town. I also think (just remembered) Peanut was a favorite in our town as well.
Actually, have Tom on my island now He kinda grows on ya.

UGH i love this. i also did the roses thing—i feel like maybe it was a CF thing you could do on valentine's day? like they wouldn't date u but they'd respond w/ a letter expressing affection or smth. i could totally be making that up but it sounds super familiar.

New horizons was my first game, so I didn't really know most of the villagers, but it was love at first sight with Dobie. He was the first villager I got that I actually liked, and I just loved his library themed house and old man aesthetic. Also, since I played the Witcher 3 before NH (my island is literally named Skellige), he reminded me a bit of Geralt. He is and always will be my cranky old AC grandad <3

deena in new leaf! i had her in my town for 5 years since the beginning and she was the only one that never left. i always related to her when she talked about books and stuff and i wrote her letters and thought she could actually read them (i was 8)

dobie's return in ACNL changed the game lmao, he is the king of crankies. i'm so happy i have grandpa on my island.

In New Leaf, I don’t really remember who I first bonded with because I liked my starter villagers so much. It was probably Agent S I think because she looked so cool and is pretty awesome.

In New Horizons, it’s Sterling. I’m such a softie for eagles. When I first saw him when first moving onto my island, I was pleasantly surprised! An eagle dressed up as a knight is pretty cool and we got along fairly quickly. Call me crazy, but sometimes I feel like I want to give him a big hug for being a great friend. Despite being my starter villager with a basic interior, this does not impact my friendship with him at all.

Fauna and Kid Cat were my starting villagers in New Leaf and I loved them so so much.
