Splatoon Who still plays Splatoon (not Splatoon 2) in 2018?

I haven't been able to afford upgrading to a Switch, so I still just play the first one. Anyone else?

I don’t play it as much but I still do every few days. I do have a Switch and the sequel but I still find joy in the first game. I love me my Splattershot Jr (it’s not that great for me in the sequel sadly so I enjoy going back and playing with my old main again).

Since I miss my inkstrike but I stay more on the sequel

I haven’t played it since I got Splatoon 2 (which wasn’t very long ago). I miss my Splatterscope so much! Bomb Rush was amazing! I want to go back and play the first game a bit more sometime.

I switched back to Splatoon 1 for three reasons
1) better specials (Inkstrike. Bubbler. KILLER WAIL
2) I just find it to be more charming. The characters have more personality. And after the Octo Expansion literally made me try to sell my entire Switch, I just needed to get back to Splatoon 1 and it's riciculousness.
3) Nintendo didn't NERF EVERYTHING. The Carbon Roller is actually a threat in the first Splatoon! Your weapons actually functioned instead of shooting a semi-gentle stream of ink at someone.

I think I only play the second game for story mode and Salmon Runs nowadays, but I even like the story mode better on the first one. sorry for ranting like that, though...

Not lately, but one of these days I want to go back to it. I like the maps and the special weapons better in the first game.
