Who plays naturally?

Before I started my new game and joined the forum I never plot reset, and thought the villagers that move in were the ones I was stuck with. Does anyone let the game play naturally?

I used to play naturally with my older games but not with New Leaf.

I play the game naturally (day by day) as it were, its more exciting that way I find personally

I always try to play the game naturally. I have TT'd a couple of times to kick some villagers out fast, but other than that, I play the game day by day.

I time travel when I'm placing new pwps in town, or when I'm adopting a new villager (I get too excited and I can't wait xD), but I don't plot reset, or campsite reset. I let villagers move wherever they want and work around it because I like the challenge it presents. So I switch between time travelling, and playing naturally (which I'm doing now).

I play as naturally as I can, only time traveling a few hours back if I'm playing too late, but never resetting or anything.

Not really, but I don't plot reset because I'm too lazy to do it like everything else in life.

I've never plot reset, or time travelled. Personally I believe that playing that way preserves the mystique and charm of the game.

I play naturally. I don't time travel or plot reset. I let every villager who wants to move, move and I let new arrivals live wherever their plot happens to be when I load the game. I agree with Sambo. I feel like I would enjoy the game less if I used those little tricks to get things accomplished.

That isn't to say, I think playing naturally is better in any way. It's just how I prefer to play. I know there are plenty of people who enjoy the game much more when they time travel and do everything they can to get their dreamies to live in the ideal location. It's a matter of preference really. If you're enjoying the game, then you're playing it right.

I used to, I now kind of switch between the two to be honest. I keep promising myself I'll stop but then I want to see if a bush will grow where I put it or to get a PWP demolished faster so I can start another.
I'm not sure how I would manage without the tting option or plot resetting. The other day, Bob tried to place his house staight over a path and right on my mushrooms luckily I remembered to start with a new charecter so it didn't damage anything.
It's a bit of a saviour actually haha

I play naturally! I only time travel to play holidays when I was too busy in real life to play my game on that holiday, such as Christmas and New Years Eve. I wouldn't personally enjoy the game as much if I time travelled all the time or if I did the plot resetting (not that I even know how to lol). I like playing day by day and I like holding onto villagers until they want to leave because I want to experience all sorts of different villagers!

I totally agree with hercatisphat, though, that if you're enjoying the game, then you're playing it right!

I do plot reset to stop villagers crushing my paths or flowers. I have certain areas where I want them to go, but they're free to plot wherever they want to in those areas, if that makes sense :] I TT sometimes to get someone out, or like in the case where I got offered two dreamies on one day so I had to TT to pick them both up. I also TTed when I first got the game because I wanted to experience what I'd missed in the way of seasons and holidays (I only started playing last summer), but now I'm back on normal time and I like playing the game day by day.

Really though, one of the great things about this game is that you can play however you want, whether that's naturally or not

I play the game naturally but I TT if I want to fit a villager in my town if I already have 10 villagers I just need to find the moving day. In my secont I TT a lot because I love playing the events and cycling to get my dreamys.

You can add a new PWP and demolish a PWP in the same day. First add the PWP and don't pay.
Than go into city hall and demolish a PWP. Go outside and pay for the PWP. I've been playing since the release and found this out last year. Wish I knew sooner.

I play natural in my main town and take what the game gives me.
I do set the time back an hour if I'm late playing.

For my guest town I do freeze that town and than try to catch up to the date it should be on when I open it again.
Sometimes I'll play 3 days of AC. I'm getting close to the real date it should be on.

Most of the time I naturally play as time goes on, but sometimes I travel too if I need to get an annoying villager out. That's what I did with Paula yesterday!

i really wish I could play naturally from time to time, but I can only play at such odd times of day that I have to constantly TT. I don't like opening the game at 2am my time, the first chance I've had all day, and be unable to do anything because it's so late at night :< same applies for playing super super early in the morning... the game just never works with my schedule unless I'm constantly TT'ing the time to make my town's time around the afternoon

I have a deep respect for those who can actually keep playing naturally without getting tempted to do otherwise :'p​

I just keep playing naturally. I let my villagers move wherever they want and build my town arround them. If I don't like a villager I just wait~ When I have a free slot, I check the villagers giveways to have my dreamies and once I have them all I will start to grow more flowers bushes and trees. c: My game evolve slowly and peacefully, I like the way it is. And I must admit that I'm a bit lazy to keep changing the settings and so on aha

I plot reset because I'm a perfectionist (which makes this game unplayable tbqh), but otherwise playing naturally is much more fun in the long run. Much less pressure, too.

I play naturally, though there has been a few times I went ahead with the game to finish some events or move a villager. I like the natural way of the game a little more, it allows you to see the gradual changes in town and enjoy/absorb all the greatness of animal crossing life

I'm very strict about playing legitimately, but recently I got tired of waiting so long for my dream villagers. I normally wouldn't mind the waiting, but it also means I can't start plotting my patterns and such. Even after a lot of recent time travelling, I'm still quite a ways off getting my animals. Can't imagine how long it would take the normal way.
