Oof, i have so so many BUT,,, if i had to narrow it down to three it would probably be:
Veronica Sawyer from Heathers (also my profile pic): The one from the musical. She has been an important character to me ever since i first listened to the musical a couple years ago. I love her personality and humour even though she is GU LLI BLE. I like that she has flaws and is not a perfect human (her mistakes are more than mere character flaws but i love her still, oopsie). After years and years of fangirling over her i joined a theater group this year and will play her in a production! She is my ultimate dream role and saying i'm excited for it is the greatest understatement of the year lol. But yeah, dream come true. Just thought I'd share my story and connection to her since i very rarely have the chance to go on and on about my love.
Leo Valdez from the Heroes of Olympus books: As a kid i remember reading these books and immediately knowing that he was my fave character of the series. A latino boy (im latina so #relatable) who cracks THE BEST jokes (don't @ me) and is misunderstood. IMMEDIATE LOVE AND NEED TO PROTECT HIM. I adopted a cat almost a year ago and decided to name him that because I wanted to honor him in some way? idk, i just love him sm. I even made a very **** cosplay of him when i first started getting into that hobby
Robin Buckley from Stranger Things: I was (and still am) super invested in the show and when she first appeared on screen i was like "ooo, she cute". Her personality is bomb and IS SUPER SMART so like, instant love towards her. I already was completely devoted to her and her arc but then there's the big reveal (SPOILER ALERT: if you haven't seen s3 of ST) that she is actually A LESBIAN AND I WAS LIKE 100% sure she was one of my fave characters ever.
