Looking to have a half bear cub/cat island and im having trouble deciding on a peppy bear bc theyre both so cute!!
Who is the cuter Peppy Bear?

hah, should have specified bear cub! tutu is cute altho the regular bears arent my cup of tea
I have both of them on my 2nd island and they were both dreamies of mine in NL (and I had both in NL). Pretty sure they came randomly in NH!
So with my cred established ( =P ) here's what I concluded after all this: Bluebear is cuter than Cheri. Cheri's mouth is a bit too high up on the snout now, so that it is close to the apex of the snout quite close to her nose, while Bluebear's mouth is a comfortable distance from her nose, further down the snout area. The effect this has is to make Cheri look like she has an underbite or something. Suffice to say, Bluebear has cuter proportions. I strongly dislike when cubs have their mouth too high up their snouts - Chester is like this too.

very good observation!!!
I have never cared for Bluebear much. I think it's because of her "hairstyle" if that makes sense! I don't mind hairstyles on most of the other villagers but I feel on her it looks a bit out of place. I think if she was plain blue, I would like her more. Cheri is very cute though, and I really like her eyebrows!
I have both of them and Cheri is definetly my cub of choice! I have gifted her so much clothes and she looks awesome in everything! Bluebear is up there too and honestly when she wears the giant blue bow I gave her she is beyond adorable but she rarely wears it...Still my vote is definetly Cheri here! Also Cheri has one of the better looking interiors to their home of all the villagers I've seen and plays kk disco!

My vote goes to Cheri.
I've had a soft spot for Cheri for years, but have never been able to fit her into the theme of any of my towns so far and have never yet had her as a resident. Meanwhile, I've always found Bluebear to be basic, bland, and boring. I tend to like unique designs and, admittedly, both Cheri and Bluebear are fairly basic, but I dunno, personal preference just operates in inexplicable ways sometimes. Something about Cheri just clicks with something in my brain.
I don't dislike Bluebear despite how it might sound; I could undoubtedly more than tolerate her if she was a starting villager or something in a game who I'd eventually replace, and would probably enjoy her during such a time, but on her own she just lacks anything appealing. She's one of those villagers for me who aren't a favorite but also aren't at the bottom of the barrel, so she just kinda exists somewhere in the middle.

I personally prefer Bluebear. Both are adorable though, but I guess since I've had encounters and interactions with Bluebear, I'd be a little biased. I've seen both of their house interiors, and they're actually very nice - it's almost like they're sisters!

Both are really cute, but I never met Cheri so Bluebear wins by default. I am so sorry Cheri :'( wish there was a voting option that said they are both equally cute haha. Would make voting a lot easier and no bear's feelings would get hurt XD
