Who is ready for Scorpion hunting?

I am actually nervous for it to be honest after being chased by so many tarantulas I don't know if my heart can take it. However I am ready for the challenge! What do you guys think, are you ready?

NO. The fear of being bitten by those (cute looking) tarantulas. How can I time my precision on those two things if they have a random move path. Plus they disappear after a certain time and appear rarely. Which hunting them makes it nearly impossible (for me).

I have seen people caught those two before, and I was like, "How?". Really, how? I can't time right with them and they are fast to run away from.

I can't wait to find a scorpion! Catching bugs feels easier in New Leaf.
I just hope they don't run disappear when I get my net out

I can't wait to catch me a scorpion! I've been waiting since last summer to get them since they're my zodiac and i've always wanted one in my home.
Plus I got my gold net to help in the catching this time!

ugh, I'm really not looking forward to it. But it's one of the 3 bugs I'm missing from my encyclopedia. what's the most annoying thing is that I've caught one...but as one of my alts and not my main character. so I have to get lucky and catch one all over again.

No. you're never ready for this. It just kinda happens. The only tarantula I've ever caught literally went in front of me and stood there like "sup dude". As i got my net out and started to get closer, it turned to see me and i panicked and released the net. Boom! catch. I don't even know how it happened. Once I saw a scorpion and I ran away because it scared me. Funny thing, I actually had to have both of these animals alive and on my hand on college because science, but when it comes to Animal Crossing I just cant...

I am xD I'm pretty sure that when I see one I will get bit before I catch one though.
Catching tarantula was pretty easy for me, even they're super gross and creepy, so I wish I could catch scorpion as easily D:

I have caught both last year soon after I had got my game but still scary! in Wild world the noise they made was a bit louder so I think they were easier to catch than in new leaf. Teru yes the condions are the same as the tarantula. Good luck everyone!

And does anyone else think/know that the tarantula (and possibly scorpion, not seen one yet!) is faster than it was in WW? I got a bit surprised when I was just chilling with my net and this black thing appeared from nowhere and chased me down ahaha.

I'm glad I have already caught both the tarantula & scorpion in both of my games.
But I went and bought a 3rd game for my sister (she kept wanting to play my games but would mess up my towns) and she sucks at catching any bugs except for fleas & some butterflies. So I have to catch all the bugs over again for her. At least it will be her and not me that wakes up in front of her house after getting bit.

I haven't caught a tarantula, ever, so it stands that since scorpions behave similarly, I won't be able to catch one of those, either.

As much as I want a golden net, I don't think the stress of messing with these two insects is at all worth it.

At least scorpions don't spawn right outside of my house and scare the living daylights out of me... One time I left my house and there was a tarantula waiting for me right in front of the front door.
So yeah I guess I'm pretty ready to catch scorpions.
