It’s been a while sit I truly got to sit down and play the game, but I do remember there being many cute villagers that don’t get as much hype. For me, I feel like Wade and gala could be more liked (again, they might have risen in popularity since I have last been active).

i feel like im honestly surprised lucky isn’t higher on tier lists. i feel like he’s a lot of people’s favorites so i kinda am surprised.

i’m biased since she’s one of my favourite villagers and i think she’s adorable, but i’m still so surprised that margie isn’t more popular. she was in the animal crossing movie, and the majority of the other villagers in it are pretty popular, yet i rarely hear anyone talk about margie. she’s one of the prettiest villagers imo, she just has this cool vibe to her. she deserves way more recognition and love

i'm going with a not so popular option here (though i assume many of these are lol), but i'm going timbra. i absolutely LOVE her design and color palette, she just looks lovely among my town. though i can see why some people wouldn't be a fan of the snooty personality lol. the green antlers can also be decieving

i've always been shocked by the massive unpopularity of rodney - maybe i'm biased because he's my favourite, but i always thought he had an endearing kind of charm to him! he's just a little goofy looking

Goldie. Some of the more natural looking villagers seem that they would be higher up, but it doesn’t seem to be the case.
I love Goldie, but I wouldn’t say she isn’t popular. She’s one of the more popular dogs, if not the most popular. I don’t like popular as a term to describe villagers, but Goldie is definitely up there.
On a related note, I don’t hear much about Bea. She lives next to Goldie on my island and it makes me sad she just doesn’t seem as liked as the other dogs. I consider Bea only slightly more liked than Daisy, but I don’t say that with confidence. They might be equal.

I'm sure regular members will know who I'm going to say, the fabulous Buck! Who wouldn't love a green, sport loving jock horse? Whenever I started playing New Horizons in February 2022, I had Ursala and Buck for my starters, I absolutely hated Ursala with a passion, and as soon as I could I cycled her out, but Buck was a different story, I fell in love and he will never ever leave my island (the same with Al, Roscoe and Kidd). Whenever I got New Leaf after playing NH, I cycled Buck in too. I haven't got him on my 2nd NH island, as I don't think a 2nd Buck would be the same as my original one. Maybe that sounds a bit silly, but it makes sense to me!

I'm not sure where to even find an up-to-date, accurate tier list for villagers these days. But if I recall correctly, Savannah and Norma are not very popular, which is shocking to me, because how awesome is a zebra villager and a pink cow!! Neither of them are on my island but I love em!

I don't see Pekoe or Portia on a lot of islands and I'm not sure why that is.They might be overshadowed by more popular villagers of their respective species.

Hmm quite a few... But I honestly don't know who's popular and who's not. I don't pay attention to that.
I think I'm most surprised by Bree, a mouse villager not being more popular. Shes got an appealing design and is quite cute. She's pretty over looked by Petra or Petri? Cant remember her name. I mean they're both white mice, Bree just has better hair. Bettina, another mouse also has wuite an appealing design, so Im surprised she's not more popular. People really distaste mice, but I they're adorable.
My big boy Chief. I know like all the wolves are top tiers, but I honestly dont hear much about him. Last time I did look at a list he was at the bottom. Idk why. Everything about him strikes me as being appealing. People are like super confusing at times. Audie and him are both basically the only ones with fox designs. So Id think he'd be just as popular as her.
Following my own villagers. Bruce, one of my favirites on my island. Strikes me as being super popular with the deer comunity. But I saw some people classify him as the worse? Lopez is also really underated, he's one of the coolest deet in my opinion, and I love villagers that have make up like him. Hes a funky boy. But again. Last time i looked at tier stuff, he was low. I guess as far as deer go Fauna, Shino, and Bam are better. Along with Lopez I wanna see Zell get some more love. But I guess people dont like stylish gazelles.
Blaire, Nibbles, Peacan. Well i still don't get why sweet little Blaire isnt brought up more, shes a little black chipmunk with a really appealing design. Like wise people dont seem to like Peacan. Again I dont get why, shes got some sick make up like Lopez. I dont think tier lists like villagers who wear make up. I had Peacan on Gei Neko and I miss her so much, up with Olivia, Miranda, favorite snooty. Nibbles. How? I mean shes adorable, her fesign and name match a peppy perfectly. I dont see any flaw with her, shes like a perfect peppy. Plus who doesnt want a squirrel named Nibbles.

Regarding Chief, I’m pretty sure his popularity dips because of his house interior. However, that doesn’t make any sense now since you can change their interior?? Even so, Chief is a permanent resident on my island and I love him.

Yeah that makes sense. I don't know why people care about the interiors in general. Its never really mattered to me. I personally love Chief's default Interior
