Who here still collects stags for cash?

Having started a new save file after taking several months hiatus, I have started collecting stags once every few nights on the island to make quick cash.

And that has me wondering how many players here still bother with that, as opposed to using other methods (selling perfect fruit in other towns, selling turnips on premium, etc), or maybe even just trading stuff for cash on this forum.

In other words, wondering if most people here just think it is a silly waste of time to collect stags. For me the amount of money from the stags seems fine, but I imagine for others it is nowhere close to enough profit.

don't need it anymore, i can buy igb off the forums if i really need money. if i go beetle hunting now it's bc it's fun lol..., i went to the island for the first time in forever today to catch some fish and stuff. :>

Sometimes I catch certain kinds of stags for cash. However, catching sharks in the island is an easier method to reel in good amounts of cash for me because sharks don't run flee at the slightest of footsteps and they spawn faster than those rare, expensive stags/beetles.

I quite like the grinding for Bells so I do make a few trips to the island every so often to grind beetles or medals. I find stag catching quite fun.

I do in my second town because I only started it a month ago. I have 100.3 million in Belle's bank account right now and 400 island medals, so she mostly hangs around town these days. I'm just trying to complete my encyclopedias.

It's currently my main method of earning bells. I've never done any multiplayer trading on ACNL (uh, yet), so up until the last couple of days I wasn't even super aware that they were a ton of other options (especially since I can't seem to get the hang of fishing). Sometimes I sell perfect fruit, but I'm a lazy farmer so I prefer bug catching while I watch movies with my fianc?.

I still do it just for the heck of it. I mean I don't really need the money for anything since the houses are paid for. And it is a good way to quickly finance the occasional PWP.

I collect stags/sharks every night. It's just fun to me and gives me money!

I go fishing and bug hunting most nights... though I'm definitely considering buying some bells with my TBT, and maybe selling some of my unwanted villagers (Stitches, Phoebe, etc) when they decide to move out.

I still go to the island to stag hunt and everything, my main way to get bells. I enjoy it a lot, it doesn't take me very long at all, probably one hour for 2 trips there and back in total.

My answer isn't an option in the poll. I don't really catch stags anymore, but that's not because I have other means to earn money; I just haven't been interested in it lately. I have about 4,5 million now and I am already able to purchase anything I want plus I earn roughly 100k a day with daily things, so I don't really need to go out and try to earn money for anything.

I used to way back in my old town (before I restarted fifty million times), but now; not so much. The stags really irritate me because if you get too close to them they'll fly away and knowing me, I'll flip out like crazy ^^;;

I catch stags and other stuff on the island for cash as motivation to get the bug catching and fishing badges. If I wasn't getting any money for those then I could never keep going.

I still do. That's actually my main form of income, but then again I've never been super in to the game like many people on this forum are. Personally, it's very satisfying to sell a pocket-full of stags and receive almost 100k in profits. The most I've ever had in bells at one time was enough to pay off an entire house loan at once with some left over (almost 390k I think? It was one of the biggest loans). I also recently reset my town after a long hiatus, but now that I'm beginning to get into the actual community and stuff I wonder if eventually 100k per pocket will be too little to even bother?

I used to do it a LOT, like every night, but now I don't do it as often.
