am wondering, can u only do each dish once? or multiple times if u have the ingrediants?
SPOILER ALERT
you get to do each dish once, then you unlock the ability to add a secret ingredient to each dish, the villagers will help you with that and then somehow franklin will add the ingredients to the already finished food and make it sparkle

My hoarding has been worth it for the sea creatures, they’re still in queue to be made into models, so I have a few of them already. Just need to dive for mussels

finished the event, I love the furniture! and seeing all the villagers cook in their house is very cute! I did prep beforehand, I knew catching sea creatures would be a pain so I caught all of them last night.
the food we make looks amazing, I wouldn't complain if nintendo added more food items that looked like those in a future update aha.

Finished and it was such a cute event. It was so sweet seeing the villagers cook in their houses and so happy when a new dish was served 
. I did some prepping but didn’t manage to get some of the sea creatures. I was about to give up but went to visit Ellie in her house. She was cooking and asked for a dab. I got one for her and she gave me one of the items needed for a dish 
I thought this was a great idea so it really didn’t make any difference prepping in advance.

This is good to know, though do the fish you give them end up in their house? I really don't want to fill up their houses with fish which I know happens when you normally gift villagers fish.
I did this for a couple of items. I am hoping as it wasn’t a gift but a cooking ingredient they won’t display them ? I honestly didn’t think about this. Hopefully fish was added to dish and it is now in the villagers tummy
