Same. I also felt bad refusing Pascal. It took me a minute to choose no. Then he's like, it's coooool maaan~ but it still felt like he's heartbroken.Ok, I am weak and I looked at the listI think Iโd better do some prepping or it will be a panic tomorrow if I canโt find something. I caught another and he actually appeared again so I gave it to him. Made me feel less guilty, even though he only gave me a Pearl

I hope Iโm able to catch some of the sea creatures I need that day because I havenโt prepared. I do have a few pumpkins though!
Itโs half laziness, half truth when I say this, but I prefer to wait until the actual day. โShoppingโ and โCookingโ have become more chore-like to me, so Iโll be gathering ingredients last minute on Turkey Day for true immersion.
Plus, Iโm not panicked because whatever I donโt get can be bought the next day supposedly, as another has mentioned. This eases any stress I previously had.

Im so excited! In Australia we dont celebrate 'Turkey Day' or thanksgiving so I'm really excited to experience and celebrate. I only TT to get certain villagers and I'm only one away now so Im excited to be on the same day as everyone else for events like this and such c:

squids are the medium sized shadows, so avoid the smaller shadows and you should stop getting sea horsesI am struggling with another sea urchin and a squidI did get a sea urchin but hadnโt caught one before so it went to the museum. The squid I am getting annoyed, I keep getting sea horses

I've been stockpiling ingredients as well and mainly for the DIY recipes. If there are fish imgredients I can get those tomorrow. I am really looking forward to crafting that crock pot! The Turkey Day furniture is a hundred times better than the NL Harvest series.
I've stopped selling my pumpkins and started saving them in my inventory since I found out that we will need them for Turkey day crafting, but I've tried not to look at any spoilers to make the event more fun/surprising. I'll collect whatever else I need on the day!
Oh! That will also be nice in case you miss anything.
I've got pumpkins, but that's it. I'm sure all the ingredients will be obtainable the day of. It would be odd of Nintendo to drop an event on us where more than 50% of people can't even complete because they weren't dedicated enough to research the event prior and prepare.

Trying to avoid too many spoilers, but clearly we need fish and sea creatures, so Iโll use what time I can today to catch and stockpile everything I get. Tomorrow will be somewhat busy with actual cooking. I hope they donโt make it too hard us grown ups who will have things to do.
My wife and I caught everything, but decided to maybe let it all go.
We felt, being animal activists and vegetarian that this was forcing animal slaughter onto us.
Plus the DIYS can be bought as a collection.

Yep, I am prepared with all of the food type ingredients I think that may be called for and plenty of them I hope I'm able to get all of the Turkey Day items! I agree that crock pot is too cute!
