Who else decorates their home like a real house?

I dont know about you guys, but im obsessed with making my house look like a real house!

I do this partly. I like the balance. My upstairs is like a real appartement with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room. My back room is a study and my basement is a tv room. Because of the appartement I have the space to do other things with the leftover rooms while still having a real house. ^^

I honestly dont know how ppl fit so much into one room, like how could you even move??

I absolutely do this! My main room is the Living Room, my back room is the Bathroom, the room on the left is the Study, the room at the right is the Kitchen, the upstairs room is the Bedroom and the basement is some kind of garden.

Love it! My favorite rooms are always kitchens and bathrooms. People always make them look so great. I'm making a great kitchen- too sheepish to make a bathroom but using that stuff for the spa next door that belongs to another resident alt.

The carpet is called the neutral floor. I'm also using the matching neutral wall.

Used to back in Cloudluv...I had the living room, kitchen, bathroom, my bedroom, a guest bedroom and then I designed the basement to kind of look like what I think an actual basement looks like, haha

I do! I have 3 1/2 ACNL towns, and almost all of the houses are decorated like real homes. (The ones that aren't are an inn, an asylum, a freak show, and the Goblin King's castle, hahaha!)

In my main town, Mayor Athelwyn's house has this layout:
Main - living room
Back - spa bathroom
Left - formal sitting room
Right - kitchen/dining room
Upstairs - bedroom & art studio
Basement - library (I made it look like one where I used to work)

When I was a kid, my best friend's family had a formal sitting room next to their living room, that would only get used when company was over. I always thought it was kind of odd to do that, but it was a nice room...my sitting room in ACNL is where I put my festive tree, stockings, and wreath at Christmas. (The rest of the house gets festive candles, snow globe, etc.)

It's all I have ever done. I don't have pics right now as they're all still a WIP at this time.

Main hall is the living room. West wing is my bedroom. East wing is the kitchen. The upstairs is the loft, complete with a bunch of old timey looking furniture. The basement is the only offshoot as it's where I do my feng shui nonsense so it looks ridiculous! You can't even enter it.

I refuse to build the back room because of the huge ugly hole in the wall.

I do too, only recently I have made one of my rooms into a bathroom so that completes my home really.
Main room: obviously the living room :3
Left wing: kitchen .
Back wing: private garden area.
Right wing: sloppy bedroom.
Upstairs: Mayor's bedroom.
Downstairs: bathroom in progress.

I'll have to come back to this offer if that's alright? I'm currently on vacation so I don't have a good enough connection for this right now. I'll get back to you in about two days or earlier, I'm nearly home. ^^
If you want it sooner you could ask someone else too, I wouldn't be offended at all.

So my house is basically:
Main room: Cabana furniture, neutral wall + floor, custom patterns on the walls, plants and other decoration. Just a room to show off some of my favourite items.
Right room: the deck of a cruise ship or private jacht
Left room: the ice series (+ villager picture and aurora screen) because I really like the set.
So that's the part that isn't like a real house. The other rooms I've already talked about. ^^
