Who do you prefer for the morning announcements?

I like Isabelle and all but I sort of miss Tom Nook dong the morning announcements infront of the resident centre.. I wish we were able to have a choice?

What about you folks? Who is your preference for the morning announcements?

I would've like it if it switches between Tom and Isabelle. Or they could share it both sometime.

And speaking of which, they really should announce the visitor of the day.

I liked them both. I think Nook's is more funny because it's outside, but Isabelle's dialogue is also very sweet. I think they should just switch up the announcement inside each day, or maybe just let both of them have dialogue in the morning and make it like a nice little radio show?

It would be nice having them both announce, maybe sometimes with even a little interaction. At the same time though I suffer for poor Isabelle, why do they make her announce that there are not announcements to be made? I like to see her ramble a little but at this rate I'm going to get bored of her, sweet puppy, I hope she starts announcing some visitors, maybe not telling you their names but suggesting it like she did with Redd

Since I have a pretty stressful time right now, I have a habit of starting up the game and listen in on Isabelle's announcement, she's so sweet and her reminder to "enjoy the loveliest of loveliest days" just makes me happy. Tom Nook doesn't really give me that feel, but I do agree that it would be nice to switch up from time to time. It would also be fun if sometimes the villagers would give the announcement

We need a third announcer: Digby. Perhaps he and Isabelle could split their shifts, with Isabelle working at daytime and Digby at nighttime.

I like having Isabelle talk in the mornings since now I don't really have much of any other reasons to interact with her anymore (when compared to NL) :/ Occasional swaps would be cute though ;u;

i lowkey miss tom nook doing the announcements, too. i love isabelle and i think her daily sayings if there’s no news are cute but idk, nook doing the announcements just kinda hit different

My problem isn’t with Isabelle’s character, it’s with the limitations of her announcements.

They could make it a lot more worthwhile if they added statements about visitors, the weather, or even some random tidbits about villagers. It really bothers me that she constantly mentions that there’s nothing to report, because it makes the town sound so boring. Honestly, I think that comment actually does the game a disservice by (wrongly) emphasizing how nothing is happening.

I’m fine with both, though they should announce more things like expected weather, turnip prices, visitors of that day, etc. Would definitely improve the announcements rather than leaving us with the repetitive spiel for days without news.

Not always, but occasionally it’d just be one of them taking over, doing it their way, for their own purposes. Jocks hyping you up about exercise, Peppies promoting themselves, Uchis giving a word of advice etc. I’d be so down for that!

THAT WOULD BE SO GOOD. It's also a great way to lessen the boredom since Isabelle often repeats her announcements a lot. If my islanders would be announcing from time to time, I would be so happy!

nook definitely gets through them quicker, which i appreciate, but isabelle is sweeter...like others, i would enjoy it if the did every other day
