I have Bob living right next door to me after luck plotted his house there. I also have Peanut living below my second character's house. Like 3 blocks down.

Eugene and Chrissy. Chrissy was a starter, and I made Eugene move next to my house on purpose because he's my fave dreamie!

Papi, but Shep is pretty close on my other side as well.

Shep barely comes out of his house though, he's been a recluse since he moved in for some reason.

Merengue , she left me twice so I am gonna be guarding her FOREVER C:

I'm literally Filbert's next door neighbor. I like having my mayor's house close the dock, and that's where Filbert happened to be when I created this town.

Kyle for now. Hopefully I'll get Lobo to move next door though.

Sterling; he's right behind me, slightly to the right. I can't really complain about his house being there, though, because he was one of my starting villagers, and I purposely put my house in front of his because I liked his spot. (Actually, the fact that he's there is the only reason my house isn't. I had to make do with in front of him.)

I don't mind him being there for the time being, because I plan on moving him out as soon as he pings me... But admittedly, his house being there is annoying because, for some strange reason, villagers LOVE putting their house right next to his when I plot reset. -_- Hopefully that'll stop when he moves out.

In my main town, Serenade, when I was letting villagers move in and out as they pleased Shep plopped down right behind my house. I love him so he's welcome to be my stalker/creeper neighbor.
And in my secondary town Aria, I plot reset to make sure I got as many dreamies on my initial move in phase and just took whoever I was looking to get wherever they happened to land just so I could get them secured and Marshal moved in just in front of my house and slightly to the right, perfectly spaced to put a path by it leading to my door, and again, I'm glad he's my little neighborino
