Saplings actually. ^.^ I like to keep the town as natural looking as possible. Too many fruit tress everywhere look a bit unusual to me. So I make the first half of the town the fruit half, and the second half the natural half.
Apparently, I'm a 'stump maker', but I'd say there's an abundance of fruit trees. Cherry, Apple, Peach, and then the 'exotic' fruits like mango. I try to organize them.
Ummm...also hate to be "that person"...but...you guys do know that "sapling" basically means "baby tree" right? ( ̄◇ ̄; )
I don't know if the regular type of tree has a specific name, but it's not sapling. All the types of tree sprouts are called saplings...
Anyway on topic the type of tree I have the most of in my town is the regular tree. I like to have as many cherry blossoms as possible in Spring!
At the moment my town is pretty sparse treewise, but that's just because I'm planning everything out. When I'm done it will probably be mostly cedar since I like the look of them more than the others. But I'll probably try and have quite a few fruit trees too obviously, and I guess I should have some normal trees too for when it gets to spring and they're the only ones that turn pink. In the end it'll probably be equal parts cedar and fruit, and the odd sprinkling of fruitless trees and the palms on the beach.
And I voted cedar, since I'm going to probably have a lot of them around my plaza and campsite area so that will most likely put them in the lead over the fruit trees.
regular trees bore me (though I still have most (all?) my default ones, because again, laziness)
too lazy to bother with cedar saplings (maybe once I start seriously decorating, but until then lol)
only have 4 palm trees leading up to the dock on my beach (rest of space is reserved for hybreeding)
