Well for Starters it'd be awesome to get all 5 of the dreamies I'd set for the town. But as far as my best group, it was probably my last one, which was:
Lobo: Town Crank and overall wise guy
Celia: Town Normie and friend to all
Puddles: Town Peppy and lover of all things wet and puddly
Joey: Town Lazy and rubber bath toy
Axel: Town Jock and neighborhood elephant with pedo smile

That actually sounds like a fun town (except for the pedo smile LMAO)! Puddles and Joey are an awesome combo!
Axel was actually a cool dude but he was kind of bland as a Jock, hence why I opted for Kid Cat instead. I like the more decorative villagers like him and Agent S, so he was a cool addition.
Puddles and Joey were great but sadly I wanted different villagers. I would gladly invite them into my town again sometime though, perhaps on a second town or future installments. They were both so cute and a lot of fun.
Celia was my favorite and while she's sadly gone too, she was amazing and a great friend.
I still have Lobo. I was so happy to get him as a starting villager and it's fitting that he's the oldest member of my town. He's like a big papa wolf to all my animals and he lives off on his own by my park, surrounded by flowers and trees.

I picked the first option; Kabuki/Stitches/Snake/Skye/Diana. I just like all of them the best, out of the other options. The best starters I've ever had were Freya and Lily, and I don't remember the other 3 (probably because they weren't that great..) but yeah I have bad luck with getting good starters
For sure! They're one of my favorite groups! It was kinda hard finding a lazy to match up with Apollo, but I think Drago is the perfect fit (he even goes nicely with Genji).

I had Celia once in a town (very long time ago). Super underrated! Out of all the cranky wolves I honestly think Lobo would be the most trust worthy to get along with everyone. The others all look kinda sneaky lol.

Wolfgang, Punchy, Bam, Sprinkle, and Whitney, because they all look good in general.
My favorite set of starters I have gotten were my originals in Celadon: Gladys, Lobo, Cousteau, Puddles, and Boomer.

Hmmmm. Interesting that no one has chosen a town with Beau and Kid Cat... I was honestly thinking that one would be the top choice.
Voted for Chief, Erik, Poncho, Poppy, Bunnie since it was the only group that didn't have a villager that may not appeal to me. I haven't really gotten to meet all villagers yet so my vote was based primarily on what personality/house furniture/appearance.
However, I am pleased to state that my starting villagers for my town are great and I still have all of them (granted my town is only a month old, LOL). The starters were: Chief, Whitney, Dora, Pate, and Biskit.
Dora actually tried to leave me and I had to beg her not to leave, but shortly after that, I realized that I wanted to replace here with a different Normal (preferably Gala
). I was also pleasantly surprised that there were enough rumors and circumstances to let me ship Chief x Whitney and Pate x Biskit, hehe.
However, I am pleased to state that my starting villagers for my town are great and I still have all of them (granted my town is only a month old, LOL). The starters were: Chief, Whitney, Dora, Pate, and Biskit.

My starters on the first New Leaf game I started was Daisy, Bangle, Leonardo, Joey, and Limburg. Daisy and Joey were my faves out of that, but I ended up letting Daisy move because she kept asking me. Little did I know, it was because I was best friends with her... :c But Felicity ended up moving in to fill my void that was Daisy's friendship and she very quickly became my most favorite villager. ^^
In what is now my main town, I started with Felicity, Coco, Genji, Tucker, and Ricky
And finally, my newest second town, it was Maple, Harry, Drake, Bluebear, and I honestly cannot remember that last villager... I've gone through so many villagers that it's hard to go off of familiarity. ^^;;

You should make a bear cub town with your 2nd town! (unless of course you don't have Maple and Bluebear anymore...)

Yeah I don't have them anymore! ^^; I started it like 7 months ago, and it's a winter town with lots of winter animals. And Maple's house was literally as close as it could be to the door of the town hall... so I wasn't going to keep her lol.
