Which of these 2 towns should I choose?

Which one looks better in your opinion?

I saw Hopper on the loading screen, so if I'm right... he'll be one of the animals in the town when I load it up. These are my favourites of the maps Rover has to offer. I'm torn.

Oh my gosh! They're both so good! But I have to go with the first one!

I like the bottom one. Retail is next to the train station. You also have a little pocket next to the beach ramp.

I was going to say the first one with retail near the beach is nice ^_^

For the river layout and lower ramp the second one is better, but that pond up between retail and the station is a dealbreaker for me, I prefer a retail up at the top like that, but needs a clear path to the shopping district. Having it placed down easier access to your dock would win out for me in this case and I'd personally pick the first one. Both have definite potential and are pretty nice, very tough choice!

Both maps are pretty nice!! Top one, there's only one small pond. River is not so curvy.. Hmm second one, Retails pretty close to the train station and there's lot of spaces on top right part. I think I'd pick the bottom map. I think. Or I might change my mind and pick the first one... Hahaha both of them are good!

Ok! I've walked the dog and now I'm back.

The results are:

Map 1 = 4 votes
Map 2 = 6 votes

So close! Map 2 wins out. I've taken your opinions and comments on board though.

Aw. Hopper isn't here. So I'm guessing the characters when you turn on the game for the first time aren't necessarily going to pop up in your new town. But I am so happy with my villagers so far:

First one is better because in the second one Re-Tail is blocked by a holding pond.

Both are extremely good and you're lucky to have gotten two amazing map options. I would personally go with the bottom one. I love how Re-Tail is close to the train station and the plaza. I also see better path potential in that one.

I actually love both but if I had to pick it would be the top one.

I'd say the top one for sure ^^ You can put your house in one of the nooks made by the river, and the cafe in the other!
