Which of these 2 towns should I choose?

Retail near the beach is nice if you fish a lot or grind at the island; Retail near the top is better if you wanna build your house nearby and empty your closets over there or whatever like I do

Both maps are really great, it just depends on your play style

Oh my goodness both are so good. I would good with the bottom one for sure. Town hall is in a lovely place and retail is very close up to the station unlike the first! Plus that town hall does straight to the bottom beach! My goodness that's a good map!

Aw. Hopper isn't here. So I'm guessing the characters when you turn on the game for the first time aren't necessarily going to pop up in your new town.

Yes when you have the start screen when you don't have a town yet it is completely random. It's a shame because it would be nice to get a hint about what villagers you would have and what fruit etc
