Which of my towns has a better line up?

I have two towns. But which dream line up do you think is better


First up is Mercury. A Sailor Moon town:
Hans, Mira, Ankha, Francine, Chrissy, Ken, Kabuki, Rooney, Octavian/Zucker/Marina, Stitches.

This town's line-up is almost finished. All I need to do is move out Fauna who is merely OK, so I can get one of the three awesome octopi. I listed them in the order of how important they are (Octavian is first, then Zucker, than Marina is last). If I end up getting Zucker, I might swap out Stitches for Nana.


Second is Namek. A Dragon Ball Z town:
Rocco, Rory, Lionel, Deli, Shari, Tammi, Bertha, Pekoe, Chester, Soleil

This town's line-up is almost done as well. I need to move out Puddles (shudder). There are actually FOUR of these that were starters. Rory, Deli, Pekoe, and Soleil were all starters. Puddles is the other and she is really bad in my opinion. I want to get a better villager, and, one who is under-appreciated, so I will get Bertha, because I like hippos, and they don't get enough attention!

Please leave a comment as to why you think that town has a better villager line-up.

Meh, I don't care for either of them to be honest.
This is super subjective so unless people have the same tastes as you do, you're not gonna get a complete concrete answer.

I guess if I had to choose it would be the sailor moon town, because Ken is in it and he's pretty awesome.

I like the Sailor Moon town. Just because you have Mira who I adore and miss terribly. But both towns have a good line up. I think the DBZ town has some uncommon faces which is a good thing if you like them all. It's easy to pick popular people and there's nothing wrong with picking popular ones if that's who you like, but it's cool to see some unfamiliar ones in the mix as well. But so long as you are happy with who you have that's all that matters. I have a few populars in my town, but even more unpopulars. But I like them and that's all that matters to me.

Puddles is underrated.

While Namek has Lionel and Tammi, both awesome villagers, Mercury has Kabuki, Ankha, Francine, and Stitches, so it wins. <3

I think it's down to your own personal choice but, if I was the one choosing, I'd go for Mercury. You can't go wrong with a Sailor Moon themed town after all.

Especially if you're a huge fan.

Some people just like getting other's feedback on what they think. It's not really any different from wanting people to check out your dream towns or showing off your designs.

I suppose, but that's not really a fair comparison. A dream town can have a lot of hard work to it even it is not to my personal tastes, making their town different from everyone else. Meanwhile everyone can have the same exact same villagers, with the exact same personalities as many of the dozens of others people might like more. What makes a villager better than another unless it's a theme town? Are we going by what better fits Sailor Moon or DBZ? Or how most villagers are in the top tiers, are we going by how cute or cool or ugly they are individually or together? Frankly, I don't really get it. To each their own I guess.

I care! Sometimes people just want opinions. No reason to get snippy. Sometimes hearing other people's opinions whether good or bad can help you realize how you feel about certain villagers. It's a process of figuring out what you like and how you feel.

Puddles is underrated.

While Namek has Lionel and Tammi, both awesome villagers, Mercury has Kabuki, Ankha, Francine, and Stitches, so it wins. <3

Underrated villagers is a major theme of Namek. I wanted to bring together villagers that a lot of people seem to hate and sort of make a 'refuge' for them (With the exception of Pekoe, I think she is decently popular. I love her design, plus she was a starter). That is why I am putting in so many Lions, Hippos, and Monkeys (and a Ring Tailed Lemur). While Puddles does fit the theme, she sort of scares me. If she was just a pink frog, I wouldn't mind her so much, but I really am creeped out by the color change to another shade of pink around her eyes. Plus, I really don't want 2 peppies in one town as permanent residents.

Mercury has Rooney, therefore it is fantastic.

They need a lot of opinions. Why does it matter? I don't understand your beef with this but okay. I don't understand why people get mad over the littlest things on these forums. Why try and discredit someone who is just trying to enjoy a game and interact with others? I don't understand. But care or don't care. You're entitled to your opinion too. I see a million of these forums too, but I still give people kind advice. There's no reason to be rude. Can we all just enjoy discussion of a simple game? Is that not what this section of the site is for?

I'm pretty split 50/50 on the line ups. There are 5 villagers in each town that I like. xP And weirdly, my 2 favourites of all the vilagers mentioned are the 2 you're evicting (Fauna and Puddles) so I guess we have pretty different tastes.
I voted Mercury though, just because of all the villagers you're keeping Stitches is my fav, and I liked the idea of having Francine and Chrissy in a Sailor moon town.

I have not posted any 'opinion' threads in a long time.

Also, I am not asking for help in choosing villagers. People's opinions will not change will not be changing these villagers, as I have both towns almost finished. Plus, I'm just curious and just want to know which of my town's line ups, that people like more.
