Mario Which Mario Kart World character(s) will you main?

I did have to group a few characters together, but I tried to the best of my ability to do so logically. Obviously the character variations are included in whichever character you choose.

For example, Burger Bud Toad would just be “Toad” on the poll.

I would normally main Lemmy, but since he isn’t yet a playable character, I’m choosing to main Bowser Jr (Biker Jr.).

I won't be buying the new game just yet but when/if I get it eventually I will 10000% be playing as the cow we see in the trailer.

Toadette is usually someone I play quite a lot, that won't change. Pianta is probably the newcomer I'm looking forward to the most! From what I've seen of their outfits I think Wario and Waluigi will get some spotlight too.

I'll main Toadette, Pauline, Dolphin and Conkdor. Mayybe Cow here and there, and while I do understand his rising popularity he's just not for me.

And you better believe I'll main Male Villager too once he makes it in. And yes, I hear too many responses on the fact that nobody wants crossover characters in World since it would break the canon Mario universe. But I mean, why? It already happened in 8DX, so get over it if it does again...
And besides, if crossover characters would be in World, they would know to only use less 1st party franchises like they did with the past entry in the series and work it around to still make it Mario knowing World's gimmick the tracks get if the guest character's respective tracks of their own franchise were to come back.
I can also see Miis making a comeback too as it's almost a given, and let's not forget about the ROB Bike, as it's probably a hint to guest characters returning altogether, though this is just coping.

Id like to play as the cow as it's unique and spontaneous. Presume it'll be heavy as well. Hopefully everyone else won't milk it for the same idea heh

Toad is the standard character I’m most excited for, but out of the new ones, I’m most excited for Pianta, Cataquack, and the fish skeleton! There are just too many good choices.

Probably Lakitu and/or Wiggler. I like Wiggler and Lakitu seemed to have very cute outfits in the trailers so I'll probably be picking him up!
I do also really like Pianta so I might play them quite a bunch!
But I'm usually very volatile when it comes to characters so chances are I'll be playing a different character/outfit everyday lol.

i would like to main king boo, but i find lighter characters a bit easier to control... his new model is so cute, i love that they've made the upper lip more prominent. all of the characters look really nice and expressive in general.

i am also drawn to the random new characters like pokey and stingby. they're so adorable!!! i hope we get even more crazy characters like that when the game releases. i have a feeling the cow will be a popular meme pick. maybe it will rival waluigi o_0

I always like to think that I will play a different character in these types of games but in actuality I never really change in my choice. I will be playing as Yoshi who has always been my favorite to play.

I might try out Cow once for fun, but my main will be Yoshi as always. I haven't used anyone else for the entirety of my 15+ year Mario Kart career

Yoshi was my main in Mario Kart 7 and 8 so probably him if the weight is still to my liking. I just hope the color alts are still available. Other than him, probably King Boo, Bowser Jr. and Dry Bones.

Also.... don't tell me Diddy Kong and Funky Kong didn't make the cut again. :/

Just hoping many of the characters aren't going to suck. You play mario kart Wii U and unless you're using a certain character and vehicle you may as well drive off the edge of rainbow road

I’m holding onto hope for DLC, so there may still be a chance of other characters. Personally, I’m crossing my fingers for Lemmy.
