Which Jock should I start with?

I recommend starting with a Jock that you dislike, because he will be stuck with a boring starter home and you will want to get rid of him as soon as possible.

I agree with LambdaDelta, that it would be optimal to have neither of them as the starter because the houses up until the first villager you get from the campsite are kind of bad.

If you absolutely want to have one of them as a starter for the sake of having less hassle to deal with, I'd say go with Bam. Since you don't really like either of their homes' interior designs, and if you're going to be getting both of them anyway, you might as well go for the one that you have less access to currently. If you can get Sterling from the other island later, that seems to be the best route to take.

Glad to see Sterling love out there too. I'm fond of him as well, have him and Knox living in one of my New Leaf towns (a town with all of the various bird species) as the guards. Great villager.

The thing is that both jocks I want I both want to keep and dislike their actual house

I think I'd say Bam because his interior is not as cool as Sterling's, and I think having him with the starter jock house is better. Even though Sterling seems to live in a....jail (?) its still unique, and since you said you plan on having both on your island, let Bam have the starter house

Sterling is my all-time favorite jock. He's a bird knight. He is an eagle so he also happens to have a physique suited for a jock. His house is a dungeon, which is cool.

Bam is nice. I also had him before. He looks like your typical jock. Even has a interior that screams gym coach.

Since this is a matter of who you should be starting with, I'd say go with Bam. The jock starter house is all blue furniture (in my case with Rod at least, not sure if it's always the same). Bam would fit in the starter house. You could just give him exercise machines to display and it would still fit right in with him.

i’d go with bam! he’s cuter imo and plus, you have access to sterling so it’d be easier to get him than it would be to get bam ;u;

I would go with Bam, too! He's so cute!!! But it's really up to you I just like the cute villagers! Sterling definitely seems more like a "jock" type.

I like Sterling's house way more than I like's Bam's original house. Most of the jocks look like they live in a locker room

I’m definitely going with both jocks (I love the personality despite its butchering). It’s just who gets the base house because I don’t like either of their actual houses.

ohh okay, gotcha! In that case, I know you said you hate the dungeon look but to be honest Bam’s house looks like a bunch of random furniture put together. Not even nice looking furniture, It just looks bad. lol at least with sterling it seems more put together, theme wise anyways! But that’s just my 2 cents. Hope you figure it out! ^.^
