So, I thought it would be interesting to see how diverse we are by making a poll and thread for which continent you live on. There's North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Antarctica, Australia, and Oceania (Pacific islands). As for me, I live in North America. Please keep things civil and appropriate though. Thanks for your time everyone. :)

UK, so technically Europe!
And Antarctica? Really? o.o

Yeah... I don't expect anyone to vote for Antarctica or Oceania; I just put them there anyway since they're (technically) continents. There's a good number of scientists that live in Antarctica, and people that live in Oceania.

I live in the U.K., so that's technically Europe. So that's what I chose in the poll.

Pssst... Oceania is technically a region, not a continent. ;]

Europe.

It's being debated whether Oceania is a region or continent by many people. I just chose to add it as a continent because that's my opinion on the matter, but you're right, it could be a region.

I live in North America and I'm pretty happy here. I have no desire to move to a different continent but maybe if I could afford it a vacation to some places in Europe would be nice. But the other continents don't interest me too much. No offense.

None. I live on an island, the island of Honshu, in Japan. Actually, been living on islands since 2008, since I lived on Oahu in Hawaii before this. :p

I lived on the continent of North America for most of my life though.

That's what I used to think. But then I got to move around thanks to work. If I could live in Hawaii (amazing weather ALL THE TIME) or Japan (the Japanese are polite and introverts like me AND their culture/food/etc likes fits me extremely well) for the rest of my life, I would. But I can't. Both Hawaii and Tokyo are pretty expensive places to live and I can really only afford it because of my current job being awesome. But I don't plan to work where I do forever.

I absolutely am NOT going back to my home state in the US for long term because I absolutely despise it for various reasons.

If the island is inhabited by people at all and it's in Japan or a territory of Japan you're technically in Asia, just making that clear.

EDIT: And Hawaii is a state of the US

Europe! I'm from the UK :) It's pretty rainy here though unfortunately.

From the UK also. There is nothing unfortunate about rain. Hot weather makes me suffer... bright sunlight gives me headaches... so cold, cloudy, and even rainy, are good weather to me.

Hmm, I have a feeling someone was being silly when voting for Antarctica. Anyway, I live in the US, (North America), but hrm, I don't really think Oceania is really a continent. More like a country if you ask me.
