So, obviously the elite member gifts have come out for Club Nintendo this year. They are all downloadable games. I need some help deciding which one I should get. Which is why I posted this thread.

I am a platinum member, but I am limited by the fact that I do not own a Wii U, only a 3DS. I have never played any of these games before, so which one do you think is the most worth it?

The obvious choice is Donkey Kong Country Returms 3D. It is the most complete game on the list and still on sale for 30-35 bucks.

Dillon's Rolling Western is easily on sale on Club Nintendo sometimes so it doesn't worth it. The other choices are Metroid or Wario Land 2 but all these games, you can buy a Nintendo eShop card and get the same amount of games for the price of one aka Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D.

Donkey Kong since its the most expensive or Game & Wario if you want a Wii U game. I'm trying to sell my code for $20 though so eh whatever.

Donkey Kong on the 3DS is excellent just a word of warning its only 30 FPS so it can be difficult not only because its already a challenging game but because the framerate is well half that of the original.

Indeed but at least, the crappy motion controls are gone. It's the real Donkey Kong experience on the 3DS and that's the point. This is why Tropical Freeze is so amazing too.

DK3D, since it's worth the most. All the 3DS ones are booty if you ask me, at least the WiiU got like 3.

I'm kind of tempted to get Metroid or Zelda, those two series are series I played since I was like,5.But if you wanna go more up to date, you should go for DK3D.

I know it's not on this list, but EarthBound is by far the best way to spend your coins EVER. It's the single best game I have ever had the delight of playing, and I think I've played it fifteen some-odd times.

for me i'm stuck between game and wario ( wii u ) and dk 3d (3ds)

G&W is the best WiiU choice I think but DK is better still. It'll last you longer by far in terms of being interesting and money value wise DK is still worth more than G&W. Or I think? I def don't think G&W is worth $39.99 if they still sell it for that

Out of these choices, Donkey Kong would be the best deal. I got EarthBound and so far I really like it!

I'm still pissed at them for putting the games they gave out to the 3DS Ambassadors on the damn eshop. I WAS PROUD OF HAVING GAMES NO ONE ELSE COULD GET, until they got most of them. Few of them I haven't seen on the eshop yet[like LoZ: Minish Cap].

There is no such thing as a used games market.

Nope.

Obviously you never heard about the 3DS Ambassador rewards they gave out to people who bought a 3DS before the price drop then. Those of us who bought one before the price drop got 20 free digital games[GBA and Nes titles]. They've since started putting them up on the eshop[and even on club nintendo].

edit: And I meant digital games that no one else could get. I know there's always the old carts you can get, if you know where to look. I mean, I still own the cart for Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins; and boy is that game a stinker[even the bosses are hardly fair and its almost impossible to learn their patterns since they always change them up on you].

Either way they had to stop being ambassador only at some point.

They kept it exclusive long enough, imo. Also, I'm not even saying this because I want any of them, as I already have any of the games for it that I care about.

Also, I knew what you were talking about. My brother got them and I usually just messed around with those games on his 3DS while I was watching him play another game or something.

I see.. well, as far as I know, there's still a few that are still exclusive to ambassadors(but, as you said, that's bound to change eventually)

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm trying to choose between DK and Mario and DK minis...but I'm pretty sure I don't have the blocks available for either. IDK about Mario and DK minis, but apparently DK3D takes up 17,693 blocks. I don't even have that much on my SD card, which means I'd have to get upgrade that first. It's very annoying and I'm not even that excited about either of those 2 games, so I probably won't even get them. :c
