Where's my update storage?!

I swear this update is giving me a headache. I download the update, visit the campsite, read the book, do some meow chores and go up to nook but he doesn't mention anything!!!! He just asks If I wanna expand my home and nothing else...gooooood what do I need to do??

ALSO WHERE IS WISP I TT A WEEK AND HES STILL NOT AROUND

Is your house fully upgraded? It may be you only get the storage once it is. Nook offered me the storage straightaway when I saw him today.

You don't need a fully expanded house. Have you finished paying off your loan? You won't be able to get it until after that. I think you might need to expand the first level main room all the way though...

You do not need a fully expanded house. My house can still be expanded, and he gave me the option.

It is, however, possible that you can only get it after a certain amount of rooms/floors are added. I have a second floor, basement, and the rooms to the right and left.

Well I haven't gotten the storage thing yet either. However, I did get Wisp....I was walking along the beach and he popped up.

I didn't screen cap it but I just went into Nooks Homes and Nook did the whole "welcome to... Oh! It's you, Tash" bit and then he said something like "don't you find no matter how big your house is there's never enough storage" and then said I could upgrade my house (my house is fully upgraded and paid off) if I wanted.

I just paid off one of my loans and got the option to expand. I clicked add a room and "secret store room" is on the list.

Just build a small upstairs (1st expansion), pay it off and then say you want to expand. That's what I did.

In order to get the storage you have to have at least the first room expanded & the second floor I think!
