Where to get MM3DS on release?

I only have a Target/Walmart/Gamestop in my area. Are any of them going to have them in stock near or on release?

They're all sold out everywhere.
The only way we can give people something that we have in stock is if they don't pick up within two days.
So if someone pre orders and never picks it up then we can sell it. But I'm sure that's not the case for LE systems.

and just speaking from myself, I don't see why anywhere wouldn't have MM on release. if you're scared they might not have any can't you just order off Amazon with same day delivery?

I'm doing the same thing on release day, even though the chances are nil. When I called my local EB, they told me that pre-orders were sold out (obviously, this was a few days after the announcement) but that it might be worth popping in at opening on release day because they might have a few extras besides just pre-orders, but that they won't know until they get the shipment.

As I said, it's doubtful but might be worth a look if they're close by. Mine isn't but I have to get some shopping done anyways so my friend and I are going to pop in.

Just check everyday and see if they have a new shipment/restock. That's what they did for some of the limited edition games I bought. Maybe try Amazon too if you are willing to pay a little extra for release date shipping.

This kind of bummed me out when I heard about it because if my EB did this, I would have no way of knowing. Unless I called the store every day and bothered them, which I didn't want to do obviously. I called once, they were sold out, so I'm not going to keep calling and asking. But what can you do.
