Where should I put my campsite?

I finally found a town layout that I like after resetting 1000 times. It doesn't have the native apples I wanted but it's okay. Something's gotta give.

Anyways, I really do not want to make the same mistakes from my first town with my campsite and police station placements. I'm getting anxiety trying to pick a place for the campsite. I need help please!

I think the left upper side of town near the river would be nice. The reason is, I think cedars look nice around the campsite, and they can't grow on the lower half. I also like the campsites next to the river so campers can fish. That's just my opinion. I understand how stressful it can be trying to find the perfect spot for permanent pwp's. Good luck.

I would prefer that huge empty space by top right beach (south from your townhall and the other houses ish). I personally love putting my campsites a bit far away from places so that it has that "camping" feel haha~

I was actually thinking of putting it there. However I wanted to plant cedar trees around the campsite but I'm not sure if that part of the town is still considered "northern"? Hmm...

Looking at the map I really doubt it. You can try to plant one or two cedar saplings to test it out if you don't mind the possibility of wasting them!

I tend to put the campsite on a pathed route, partly so that I don't forget to check and partly to keep my paths to a minimum.
Which I know is not how many players see it.

I'd have a look at top right by the ramp, its possible there is room, plus room for a few cedars around it as well. There is always a bit more space in the town itself as opposed to what it looks like on the map. Not very nice for the campers tho, railway tracks & train tunnel.

You have had lots of good suggestions.
I think the campsite looks rather ugly (when not in use) so I try not to put it in a 'pretty' area I have planned for other PWP. But its how you view it that matters & I tend to have views different from other players.
