Mine is on the lower left side of my town, right next to the town hall. It's not a terrible spot but it could be better

Mine is where the top left waterfall is and where the Town Hall and my Campsite is too. I like on how the game made it to where it was put near my camp. It makes perfect sense.

The left side of my town. Near my house and ReTail. A villager's house is partially blocking the entrance. Honestly a horrid placement.

Whoa same here. Mine's crammed between a pond, a villager's house, and ReTail. It's not the best spot but I suppose it could be worse. I wonder if it was possible to soft-reset like a villager's plot beforehand.

On my main town is somewhat near in the right middle and in my second town is also on the right but on the bottom. Not complaining about the placements but I do have to worry about my hybrids when coming down.

Mine is upper left on Re-tail. the placement is good i guess.

In my main town, it's on the lower left side... right next to my tree-lined path and a neighborhood. Rip.
In my other town, it's on the lower right side... right in front of my totem pole lined path that leads to my in-town campsite. Rip.
In my new town, it's in the middle right side... and there's a rock in front of it. Rip.

I just wish the opening wasn't so wide... and that we could've chosen the placement...

Mine is on the upper right-hand side. Although I've seen a lot of towns that have them on the left side, or further down the map.
