where do you put fertilizer when breeding flowers???

i think i'm gonna try to crossbreed my hybrids to make more
i heard that fertilizer helps with producing flowers so
where would you put the fertilizer???? like around the group of flowers???? inbetween the flowers if you're crossbreeding??? or what just works best for you in general?

Yes, if you crossbreed flowers, bury it in the middle of them.

Planting them like this seems to work for me everytime (you still have to water the flowers though)
