Where do you guys keep your campsite?

Mine is south of the plaza/near all the "bustling" parts of the island with the shops

There’s an island in the middle of my river (it was actually there from the beginning, I didn’t terraform it), and at first I thought about putting my house there but I ended up putting the campsite there! It has a drink machine, snack machine, and a pool, as well as the campsite sign from Pocket Camp. I like the idea of the camper having their own mini-island within my island (and of course it has a bridge so they could hypothetically walk to the mainland to use the restroom or shop if they could actually leave the tent lol...there’s enough room for me to put a portable toilet there too so I should get one so they’ll have pretty much everything they need).

I plan to move it, but right now my campsite is located at the top of my fruit orchard (lined up in the centre). I have apple trees, my native fruit, surrounding the sides and back of the actual campsite. There's a path going straight down to a bridge. The left side of the path has 2 lines of cherry + peach trees, and the right side of the path has 2 lines of pear + orange trees. It's on the top right area of my island, and it's a kinda small and enclosed area because of the cliffs.

I plan to terraform the area near my private beach and make it "ground" level, so the entire campsite is surrounded by cliffs (and of course an incline). I really want my campsite to have access to that mini beach. That's as far as my plan goes for now though so I'll just play around and see what works

Mine at the top of my island too, right by the private beach. I built an incline that goes directly down to the beach, so it feels like my campers have their own private beach

Mine is on the far left front near the beach. I decorated around it like a little beach campsite. Since it's usually empty I don't mind it being so far forward.

At the north east of my island on the second level. It's just by the private beach and there's a lake for fishing. I really like it up there and there wasn't really enough land to do anything else.

It's in the center of the island, roughly. Just north of my first bridge, so it's easy to access

I've also placed mine at the top of the island. I actually moved it to this point because at first, I've placed it at the beach but I didn't like it that way.

Mine is on the ground level, up against a cliff. It's located fairly near the Able Sisters and a villager's house, but has enough free space around it to look a bit wild. It's on the less-developed left half of my island, so I doesn't feel like it looks weird by being in the middle of a neighborhood, or anything.

I like having it there because it's near one of the paths I walk multiple times a day, so it's easy for me to see if there's a camper, or get to it when invite an amiibo.

I considered putting it up on a cliff because it does seem fitting to have it in a remote location, but I like the campsite's appearance and wanted to have it where I could look at it often just walking around my island.

Mine is on the right side of my island, toward the back, but on the first level. It is snugged up to the cliffs with a pond in front and near the beach.

I wanted to put all structures (except my house) on the first level. I, and I alone, am Queen of the Mountain on my island.

Oooh that sounds nice! Share pictures if you can. Mine has two tiki torches behind it and the camping cot that Old Man Nook gave me when I set up the island.

That's pretty awesome. Mine looks a little more plain even with the cot and torches based off it's location in proximity to the beach though. Once I begin the landscaping phase of my island, I may see what I can do flower or decoration-wise to spruce it up a bit more.

I put it in the middle of the forest on the top cliff (something that I made), next to a holding pond. It’s in front of the river on top of the waterfall, with a bridge on that river.
