Where did this come from?

Roald asked me for the miyama stag I had and I sold it to him. The next day he had it placed in his house. The weird part is there is a tiger butterfly in a cage on top of the miyama stag that I did not give him. Is it possible for villagers to catch their own bugs? This is weird

Some people claimed that villagers caught bugs from Bug-Off. I seriously hope this isn't true, but it's looking that way.
