Yup, they are displayed like the Snapping Turtle! They flip onto their back when you interact with them.

Omg nice! I wish more creatures and stuff were displayed like that. Like the sea star. Would have been perfect on the beach.

I definitely will. In older games I would fish even after catching everything, so I'll be doing the same here. Sometimes it's fun to just go into the ocean and catch a bunch of things.
